Videos of note from last Sunday's concert

NOTE : This post contains a lot of content (primarily videos) and is linked to Ms Susan's concert. You may be looking for troisnyx*'s performances.

It's been about a week since the concert with Ms Susan's student group. During that one week I was considering putting my favourite recordings up. Sorry for the bad quality - it was taken with a camera phone, and from the wrong angles... I entrusted Louisa and her sister Jeanne to record the performances as I was in front of the audience almost the whole time.

Anyway, here we go (get your headsets ready, people) :
Kayla and Hareena's dance to Abba's hit Dancing Queen.

Louisa's performance of Triste Cœur.

I remember prior to her performance, I told her, "Your piece title literally means 'sad heart'. Remember, it's meant to be a heart-wrenching piece. No matter how it sounds, play with emotion - then they'll know it really is a melancholic piece." And so she did.

Shing Yi’s performance of Georges Bizet’s Habañera. I remember playing this piece once while I was under Ms Susan. Ah, the good old days...

Jeanne's performance of Prelude #1.

I forgot this kid's name, but he was the person who performed the Star Wars theme. And no matter how simple it sounded, he did it with a certain aisance.

Well, let's say that these were among the people who felt and breathed what they performed, no matter how simple their pieces sounded. :-)
