Taken from an e-mail my friend Sherilyn sent me :
It came to pass that a new pastor was visiting the homes of his parishioners.
At one house it seemed rather obvious that someone was inside, but no answer came even after his repeated knocks at the door.
Hoping to get a reply from the person in the house, he took out his business card, wrote "Revelations 3:20" and stuck it under the door.
When the offer was processed the following Sunday, the pastor found that his card had been returned. Added onto it was this cryptic message, "Genesis 3:10". The pastor flicked the Bible to search for the actual words in the quote... and he had a good laugh !
Guess what they read :
Revelations 3:20 : "Behold, I stand at the door and knock."
Genesis 3:10 : "I heard your voice in the garden and I was afraid for I was naked."
-_-" Do you ever wish you could get back to a time when humour was as clean as this ? I sure do !
(On another note, the Francophonie festival ended on Sunday... and I think Ricordel might be after... my head !)
