Not even if you are a long-serving lecturer. Because I can and I will put you in your place the next time you treat your underlings badly.
I don't know why I get the brunt of the complaints but yes, I get complaints from docile people who I know haven't done any wrong to irk the lecturers. Whilst I understand that everyone is human and to err is part of our nature, I won't have people committing the most serious of blunders in my presence. Including rudeness. And if my warning is powerful enough, they won't even consider committing these errors for a lifetime.
