Before I begin this post, let me make it clear that despite having listened to Jason Mraz's songs, I did not make it to his concert. All the coverage I got was from the papers.
It came to pass that I was reading StarTwo and I noticed that he did a duet, "Lucky" (originally sung with Colbie Caillat), with a Malaysian artiste Mraz himself picked off the list - Penny Tai. The reporter said that the duet was the only disappointing moment in Mraz's concert because prior to the concert, Mraz had never met Penny. Their duet was impromptu, and even if they had practised the parts, there was a lack of chemistry between them.
Having listened to both Jason Mraz and Penny Tai, I shudder to think how that duet could've turned out.
That darling of ours had to be picked off a list ?
Come on, is our Malaysian music industry that dismal ?
