I'm bound to miss...
* three months of Kingdom Hearts.
* three months of Wikitranslating.
* the Fête de la Musique on the 21st of June.
* Bastille Day celebrations on the 14th of July.
* mom’s death anniversary on the 27th of August.
* soirées with my best buddies.
* hours and hours of sleep which I have lost, which I could’ve been able to compensate.

And instead of the rainbow-coloured entries that I’ve put in, I’m only gonna get blue ones. All I know about my NS stint is that
* my uniforms will look like the camo uniforms used by the army, only that they’re blue.
* I’m gonna use an M-16 rifle, with live bullets.
* there will be no internet and no wireless connections.
* I’ll be posted in Sungai Rait, Miri (my camp’s near a river ? yay !)
* I’ll have to march and undergo strenuous training in the hot sun.

Well, they say things happen for a reason. If my NS stint doesn’t compensate for all these non-pecuniary losses (or, by giving me something equally good in return), that’s it. I’m gonna wage a mental war on this three-month compulsory stint.
