Picture this : (drummer's cue - slow march rhythm please)

You walk along with your company friends towards the flying fox. There are helmets, gloves and ropes strewn all over the place. For the confidence test you have to support your friend in front of you, who will fall towards the back.

You see the head boy and a few other trainees doing the flying fox exercise, and you want to do it too. After waiting for ten minutes, it's your turn. The trainer helps you put on your helmet, your gloves and some ropes with attachments, and that'd be your pass to the exercise.

You climb the ladders and you find yourself at a height of 12m above ground. You are frightened and you start saying your prayers. Two or three more trainers fix you onto the cables.

As your name is called, the teachers let you go down. Your body starts moving at 60km per hour. You hear the metal grinding on the cables. You feel the wind blowing on your face. It's exhiliarating. In ten seconds you arrive at the end of the course, suspended 3m above ground. =)

That's what happened to me. After the flying fox exercise I marched on to the checkpoint with a proud look on my face. I finally conquered my fear of heights ! :D
