Du franglais

Yeah... Who'd need an escape pod. Unless Xemnas really thought someone was actually going to come up all the way to the Altar of Naught and use that thing.
well, if that was the case, he especially wouldn't have put that thing here and juste shoot them on le altar of naught with his big dragon thing

Du franglais ?
and comme par hasard, Riku savait how to conduire it
et Sora never lost his balance quand il etait a bord

:D Here's the challenge : Figure out what we said towards the end, without using Google Translate. Do not even be tempted to open it.

I didn't use Google translate, I used the ImTranslator addon for Firefox. :P Not that it helped much, since I'm guessing you're talking about something (game, cartoon, ...) I've no familiarity with. :P

My French sucks. I've been using this Rosetta Stone thing for a little while, and I've progressed only a little. Like...I know what chat is. And quatre. But I have a hard time saying the latter one--even though is sounds more the like for former one does in English. :P Hahaha.

Cat four? Oh no. That sounds like a really sadistic game of golf.

Repeat after me : chat (pronounced sha), quatre (pronounced ka'-tr). Hard A sound. : )

Well, it was towards the end of Kingdom Hearts II, where the last world is called The World That Never Was. It's rather dark and sinister, and the people living here travel through corridors of darkness. Now, Riku and Sora (the main characters) spot an aircraft on the side wall of the Altar of Naught, the highest spot in TWTNW when the main antagonist, Xemnas, slams his ship through the tower causing it to collapse.

Now, this is serious deus ex machina - 1) where on TWTNW would we even find an aircraft, and why ? 2) How did Riku know how to use it, and how did Sora know how not to lose balance on that thing when they haven't even used a vehicle of that sort before ? :P

Shoot. You got me at "The World That Never Was". I'd wonder why it is now, before I'd ask the other questions. :P

Excellent job explaining it, though. :)

As for why it's called "The World That Never Was", well... the primary antagonists of KHII are called Nobodies, and the whole perception is that Nobodies aren't supposed to exist. Because TWTNW is the "homeworld" of the Nobodies, so to speak, then it actually isn't supposed to exist either.

Well, for your reading pleasure, I'll pass you a few links :

Heartless, Nobody, Unversed. These are the three main enemy types. These links should explain all of them in detail.

And for an idea of how TWTNW looks like, this is the page on it.
