What happened yesterday

The happy bit

Yesterday started on a happy note. I just did my usual task of wrapping up vegetables from dad's and Rin's trip to the market when I found...

THIS !

Have you ever come across a chilli as big as this ? It was even bigger than my fist for crying out loud ! The red chillies that we normally get are scrawny and small, but this !...

And this is the size of the chillies relative to two pages of a newspaper. Can't call it a tabloid (because it's not as big as New Straits Times) but still...

This prompted me to take a picture. It's nothing special - except for that heavenly beam of light shining out the window. It's like a crepuscular ray, because the light seems to be shining in that direction only... I was enthralled, and decided to take that picture, no matter how blur it turned out to be.

During the afternoon hours, dad, Rin and I went to Plaza Low Yat. For the uninitiated, or for dungus, Plaza Low Yat is in the Bukit Bintang area in KL - a heavily commercialised place in the heart of KL. And Low Yat is a PC mall.

I took the interior because I was bored..... ?
At this point in time Rin was negotiating prices for the laptop.

Laptop manuals. All HP ! Yep, the laptop I have is an HP. : )

After that was over, we went to get a camera. We wanted something good, but not too pricey, so we settled for a Panasonic Lumix. Dad has a professional version of it, which was actually priced at some RM200 when it was first bought. No kidding, right ? Now try to guess the price of this one ?

14 megapixels, 5x zoom, functions automated.

All in all RM 600.
A severe markup from the previous price. Looks like the demand is high...

The sad bit

I missed Mass yesterday.
And my day went downhill from there.

It started with the pepper, and amused me from there. :) Seemed rather childlike, really. Haha. The end was a bit of a downer--not because you missed Mass, but because you were upset that you missed Mass.

Seemed rather childlike ? *blushes* My tendencies seem childlike to some, I admit. ^_^

The end was a real downer for me. I wanted to go, I wanted to confess and everything. And then all of a sudden I realised that dad needed to use the car, emergency call in his workplace. Sigh and double sigh.
