That was pretty much what happened last night : chill. Nothing spectacular except for the opening.
But the induction talk for law students at De Havilland was pretty nice. Well, in selected images :
Students from the group I was seated in, back in DeHav. From left : Mohan’s shirt (I know, pathetic right ?), Alice, Savas and Doreen. We were divided into groups and we were expected to find out a few things about each other in ten minutes. :D
This is Group 5, right in front of us. And the guy with the grey shirt is Jerome. He’s Malaysian. Yay !
And at night, the Forum was filled with students who wanted to chill out at the Attic, the student bar on the 1st floor. I went, just to see if I could make a few new friends. And I whipped out my camera just for the occasion !
The bottom of the stairs from the first floor.
The entry to the Attic. This is the Style bar, at the first floor.
The interior of the Style bar. I was the first to enter. I was excited to enter that I ended up taking a picture of the interior like this ! :D
The sweet tray on the table. I took a lollipop ; one lolly can last me for about half an hour. :P
The bar. Now I’m not sure how many people wanted apĆ©ritifs back there. But I didn’t take anything. I didn’t want to pay for my drinks. And I definitely wouldn’t wanna pay for a J20.
A piano at the end of the Attic ! I was tempted to play ! I did indeed play until I was stopped…
This is me ! :D Taken by Student Guide Khuram.
And this is Student Guide Khuram, taken by me.
The Attic when it was full.
After about half an hour or so it became boring, and so Khuram and I left. I’m not sure about the rest…

Don’t you just hate those stupid social exercises.
Oh indeed, sometimes. But tonight might be a bit more exciting.
TBH, I'm waiting for Thursday morning and Friday night.
I did indeed play until I was stopped…
Why were you stopped?
Well, that piano was old (looked old, and it had two pedals instead of three)... And I reckon they were scared I'd damage it. But I did play softly...... It was audible enough for the people just standing around me.
Ah. So it was only there for show. The booze was real but the piano was fake. Sounds backwards.
Indeed...
