Yes, we all know yesterday was the first of April.
Firstly, exams are looming over us. We have to work hard, and there's practically no time for fooling around.
Secondly, I observed a different occassion yesterday - the start of the Fête de la Francophonie, or the celebration of the French language and Francophone nations. Dang, I wished I could go...... now I'm stuck here with an exam. And I told Mme Ricordel that I'd love to contribute. I'd have loved to contribute... if this stupid exam didn't have to fall smack in the middle of my almost-wonderful year !
Oh well. The Francophonie fest ends on Sunday the 5th. Which means another blown chance. Perhaps if I meet her I'd have to say "Sorry, I had an exam to sit for..."
