Updates and Game Jam stuff

After months of not uploading on YouTube, I finally talk about the Game Jam and what it is all about.

I also share the tracks for Dropping Loads in a Cave and The Hut in Ayre Forest.

If you are watching this video on YouTube, the download links are in the description. But for now, I'd love for you to give these previews a listen. Hope you enjoy it!

P.S. And given the description and the name of the team for Dropping Loads in a Cave, no, I do not believe the Internet is for that sort of smut. We were supposed to rename it Team Venture, but goodness knows what happened and our bid to rename the team fell through instead.

Sunshiney Happy Land!! :D

Cute Explosion, from Weebl’s Stuff.

Previously on #kingdomherts, you saw Hoshi no Kirby. Today, you are given another bout of cuteness. ^_^ I threw it on my Tumblr (since the title is Sunshiney Happy Land, after all) and reckoned that people would love sunshiney happy things. It’s much needed, anyway, in a place where weather is stereotypically cold, dark and grey!

Poor Maleficent ! What did they do to her ?

The lesson to be learnt here : NEVER remaster a Disney classic.

A friend showed me the Spanish versions of Maleficent - the original, and the remastered version, and they're a world of difference.

This is the original...

Just look at the expression with which Maleficent is casting her spells and whatnot. Maleficent is meant to be pure evil, not anything else.

And look at the 2001 version :

A disappointing world of difference. -___-

Worst part is, I reckon that for the first Kingdom Hearts, Spanish gamers were stuck with the 2001 voice. Ouch.

Oh and...

Ever imagined how it is to handle a class of people who do nothing but look at their subject matter with a rather lackadaisical attitude ?

I miss the days of Mind Your Language. It's a pity the cast was disbanded and the guy playing Jeremy Brown is no more here...

Bless my soul, Herc is on a roll.

Ah, the French version of Zero to Hero.

I'm sure most of us Malaysians are familiar with the English version, and now when you watch this, you'd admit that this is a LOT better. The gospel feel is there, and it really sets the mark for ANY choir.

Ressonnant, if you're reading this, please take a cue from this vid ! Seriously, I love it !

The beginning of my Watch and Rate series

Every now and then I'll post a noteworthy vid onto the blog. Now, it's all up to you to watch, rate and perhaps comment...

I'll start with a quote mashup from the Kingdom Hearts series.
